The Leicester Bainbridge Suite

The Leicester Bainbridge Suite is named after an original oil on board painting which hangs in the green room. Accessed by your own private entrance, Bainbridge has a summer porch, two bedrooms, each with queen sized bed, private bath, full package cable TV and a private parlor in which to have your morning coffee. The colors of these rooms have been chosen from a palette of early 19th century colors from English manor houses of the period when the U.S.G.H. was built.

The Library Suite is just that. A fully furnished sitting room with the house library where tea and coffee await your arrival, a separate bedroom with a queen bed and private bath complete this room. It also has full package cable and fridge. The colors of this suite reflect the Swedish influence of Carl Larsson, an artist of the 19th century.

The work of Michael Butel is now showing in our Gallery Suite. A resident of Sante Fe when not traveling the country in search of new visuals for his plein air abstractions, Michael is visiting the Hudson Valley for winter 2007. An old friend of the USGH, we are pleased to present his “rambunctious” and colorful art to brighten the winter season.
